朝鮮戦争真っ只中の1950年代の韓国、米国空軍のパイロット、スミスの飛行機がトンマッコルの村の近郊で墜落、そこに２人の韓国人兵士、３人の人民軍の兵士らが現れる。敵対する兵士たちが鉢合わせとなり、村は一触即発の危機に陥るが・・・。

トンマッコルとイノシシが取り持つ縁（笑
どんな映画かも知らずに行った。
なんだか意外と良かった。
ちょっとクスクス笑えて悲しくなる。

あとは「スピリット」の田舎の村。

外界から隔離されてるようで、
「戦争が始まった」
と聞くと
「どこが襲ってきた？中国？日本？」
と聞くところからは、最低限何かが入ってきてるみたい。
でも同じ民族が争うって、、、ほんと辛いなぁ。。
相容れない相手同士。
話せばわかる？
いやそれだけでなく
一緒にゴハン食べる、
一緒に何かする、
うん、たしかにそうだわ。
旅先で知らない人とでもそれで仲良くなれるなーｗ
どこの国とか関係なく。
もののけ姫のタタリ神様を髣髴とさせるイノシシ君、
登場してから最後まで、君は身をもってそれを示してくれたんだ！！
エライ！エライよ君！！なんて尊い犠牲だ！！｡･ﾟ･(ﾉд`)･ﾟ･｡
来年の干支の君をかわいくないなんて思ってスマンｗ
でも逆に何か一つの敵がいなければ団結できないのも悲しい事実。
服装ってのも重要なんだよね。
自分がそれに属していることを意識させるようで。
軍人達が自分の軍服を脱いで、
トンマッコルの服を着たとき、
垣根がなくなったような気がした。
でもどんなにトンマッコルに馴染んでいても、
結局軍人は軍人としてしか恩を返せない。。
笑顔だけではどうにもならないこともある。。
人を治めることって難しいと思う。
トンマッコルでは悪意のある人はいなかったから成り立っていたけれど、
一人の悪意が全てを壊しかねない。
村長さんの「たくさん食べさせること」
ってのにはうーん、、そうかもね。
たくさん食べて、笑ってられたらそれでいいのかも。
人を愛すること、思いやりを持つこと、そして笑顔。
